Our house is surrounded by tall oaks housing murders of crows. Almost always you can hear their caws, clicks, coos, rattles and purrs. We have grown to love these funny, clever creatures and that's why Jude chose the Crow as the subject of this series of personalized art print/drawings he's making to raise money for a climbing camp in Tokyo next year.
He started the process by carving a crow into a linoleum block. Then he rolls the block with ink and presses it onto printmaking paper. Once the crow dries, he sketches the crow's treasure and crown then colors them in with vibrant Posca acrylic paint pens. You pick the treasure you want and crown color.
